Time for the Market to breathe just a bit $ES_F 1813

Featured Breadth Chart of the Day:

New highs are holding it here in the 90s, now the trick will be to move the Zweig back down for a another push higher while maintaining these great NHs/NLs numbers.

Quote of the Day:
Work keeps us from three great evils, boredom, vice and need.
–François Marie Arouet Voltaire

Comments and Levels for the Front(S&P500 – Emini futures) contract:

Short:  1846
Long: 1813

Watching 1829 for a hold, if we fall through we have 1813 pegged as a gathering spot for the bulls and we think we can see a den of bears up at 1846.

It’s curling time.

While I was swimming in 80 degree water there was one thing I was missing and it was curling.   I don’t play but it is easily my favorite of the winter Olympic sports and really one of the only real sports that match up teams.  All things are equal on that curling sheet.  Stones are given to you so there is no “technology” advantage.  There is no weather advantage.  Straight up Team A vs. Team B in a game of chess, except in this game you decide the value of your piece by throwing and placing it.  It is a bit like watching baseball in the respect of vast amounts of time but to watch the strategies and skill unfold on each end is fascinating.  To me it has all the components that make a sport interesting, including the ability to drink beer while doing it.
