Homeowners have a $100M plan to fix sinking Millennium Tower

It’s been almost a decade since the Millennium Tower opened, and 17 sunken inches later, the tower’s homeowners have proposed a plan to fix the sinking and leaning 58-story skyscraper.

The Millennium Tower Association submitted a permit application to San Francisco’s Department of Building Inspection Tuesday to retrofit the tower at 301 Mission St. by drilling 52 new piles down to bedrock in a fix that will cost nearly $100 million, the homeowner’s group said in a statement.
