Silicon Valley Community Foundation names new CEO after scandal

Nicole Taylor, a Stanford University graduate who has led several Bay Area philanthropic organizations, has been named president and CEO of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. She succeeds Emmett Carson, who resigned in June from the huge foundation in the wake of a scandal involving allegations of sexual, racial and other misconduct by top executives.
