Tesla, Inc. CEO Elon Musk got a rare offer from the Chinese government this week: permanent residency, if he wants it.
Musk spent much of the week in China, where he broke ground on a new factory in Shanghai. Later, he traveled to Beijing, where he met with Premier Li Keqiang and praised the country.
“I love China and want to come here more often,” Musk said, according to the South China Morning Post.
“If you do, we can issue you a Chinese green card,” Li said.
