United and American flight attendants urge end to government shutdown

In an unusual move, flight attendants from rivals United Airlines and American Airlines jointly dispatched a letter on Thursday addressed to President Donald Trump and Nancy Pelosi, the speaker in the United States House of Representatives, as well as Mitch McConnell, majority leader in the U.S. Senate.
